Sad News but we fight on

We recently had some very bad news when a leopard was found dead in a poachers snare on the border of one of our research zones.
Unfortunately snaring is sometimes a harsh reality of life in Africa.  Nevertheless, you can imagine how devastated our research team were (as is everyone with a passion for these magnificent cats). Poachers often set snares for bush meat, but these illegal devices also indiscriminately kill many other animals.
It would be easy to be disheartened, but we'll fight on to protect leopards.

  1. Thank you for continuing the fight against poaching. I realize it is the 'little man' who does the dirty work but at the same time, wish they all could be caught along with the heads and prosecuted to the fullest extent.
